Our Bluebonnet Bash held on March 2, was filled with laughter, excitement, and enthusiasm as students enjoyed ice cream sundaes, games, crafts, and of course planting bluebonnets!! Our event took place in the Elementary cafeteria form 1:15-3:15. We rotated groups through the events beginning with fifth grade, then third grade, and ending with fourth grade. The unforgettable smiles on these students faces and the anticipation of blooms on the bluebonnets plants in our flower beds during the weeks to follow is the best reward we could wish for.
A HUGE shout out to our incredibly hardworking VIPS who helped to make this event one for the record books.
Thank you Amy Alvarado, Katie Cano, Morgan Chadwick, Tempest Cooney, Kristi French, Kim Hardwick, Sabrina Lopez, Jackie Pena, Jenilee Sauceda, and Sharaty Vermillion! You ladies are true gems!
Please join Orange Grove ISD and Orange Grove Libraries in extending our deepest appreciation to HEB and the HEB Tournament of Champions for providing funding to update our collection at the Intermediate Library. With the generous support of HEB, our Intermediate Library was able to add new titles to several series of books and replace a number of books that were damaged due to excessive circulation. Thank you HEB and the HEB Tournament of Champions for helping to fill our shelves!
The OGISD Intermediate Student Council traveled to Austwell-Tivoli on January 11, 2018 to deliver $2000.00 worth of new books purchased for their school.
The Austwell-Tivoli school district suffered a great deal of
damage and loss during Hurricane Harvey.
Students at Orange Grove Elem. and Intermediate schools
raised the money during our fall book fair.
